We’re hiring Backend Engineers at SalesAgents AI.

We’re building multilingual AI voice agents that actually sound human. They qualify leads, handle objections, follow sales scripts, and hand warm prospects to human sales reps at the right moment-in English, Hinglish, Hindi, and other Indian languages.

We’re growing 2x month over month, and building beyond lead qualification: AI pitching and persuasion systems that use full conversation history across channels. Our customers are seeing measurable revenue lift-not demos or hype.

What you’ll work on

You’ll work on the backend systems that make our AI agents reliable in the real world:

- Python backend services, scalable APIs, databases, and system design
- Voice-agent and telephony systems that handle live customer conversations
- Customer-support, configuration, campaign, and reporting services
- Debugging and resolving production and client issues across services
- Automations for campaign execution, reporting, deployments, and operations
- New customer pilots, integrations, and AI sales-agent launches
- Kubernetes, Docker, cloud infrastructure, and production deployments on AWS/GCP/Azure
- Observability, reliability, and practical tools that help the team operate faster

This is not a narrow feature-development role. You’ll get to understand how the entire product works - from a customer’s campaign configuration to a live call, its outcome, and the report the customer receives. What we’re looking for




- Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn anything fast
- Strong Python/backend skills; experience with Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks is valuable

- Comfort with APIs, databases, distributed systems, Redis/queues, and debugging
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and production systems, or the eagerness to learn them quickly
- People who take ownership-you’ll never hear “that’s not my job” here
- An execution mindset: shipping, learning from production, and solving customer problems matter more than slide decks
- Explicit communication and the ability to work closely with product, operations, and customer-facing teams

Good to have
- Experience with AWS,GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or cloud-native systems
- Experience with telephony, SIP, WebSockets, WebRTC, or voice applications
- Familiarity with LLMs, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or AI-agent systems
- Experience building integrations, supporting customer deployments, or working in a startup
