We are looking for an experienced Azure Platform Architect to lead the design, governance, scalability, roadmap, and optimization of large-scale Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, FinOps, networking, provisioning, security, automation, and platform operations.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

1. 15+ years of IT experience with 7+ years of hands-on Azure cloud architecture experience.
2. Architect and manage large-scale Azure environments spanning multiple subscriptions, resource groups, and enterprise workloads.
3. Define and maintain the Azure Platform Roadmap, including new service introduction, scalability plans, governance maturity, automation strategy, security enhancements, and cost optimization opportunities.
4. Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, management groups, governance frameworks, and platform guardrails.
5. Lead cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
6. Drive enterprise FinOps initiatives, including cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and utilization reporting.
7. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and recommend optimization strategies using Azure Reservations, Savings Plans, Spot VMs, rightsizing, and workload optimization approaches.
8. Good understanding of enterprise networking solutions, including Hub-Spoke architecture,



ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, VPN, Private Link, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and Application Gateway.
9. Positive understanding of Azure Data Services like Databricks, Data Factory, Datalake
10. Establish platform security standards using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Key Vault, Managed Identities, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policy.
11. Define high-availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and business continuity strategies for mission-critical workloads.
12. Implement platform monitoring, observability, and operational excellence using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
13. Develop automation frameworks and self-service provisioning capabilities to improve platform efficiency, governance, and consistency.
14. Lead architecture reviews, cloud governance boards, and technology evaluation initiatives for new Azure services and platform enhancements.
15. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to establish enterprise cloud standards and best practices.
16. Mentor cloud engineers and platform teams while driving cloud adoption, platform standardization, and operational excellence.
