Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Build and enhance scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.

- Develop and execute API automation tests for RESTful services.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

- Configure and maintain automation execution within CI/CD environments.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.

- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and provide explicit defect reports.

- Maintain test scripts, test data, and automation utilities as applications evolve.

- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution speed, reliability, and maintainability.

- Participate in test planning, test case design, regression testing, and release validation.

- Contribute to QA standards, automation best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills s Experience

- Proven experience in test automation using Playwright.

- Strong experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.





- Hands-on experience with API automation and API testing.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and API validation.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.

- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

- Strong knowledge of Git/version control.

- Experience with test reporting, debugging, and analyzing automation failures.

- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with UI automation and web application testing.

- Experience with Docker or containerized test execution.

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing or cloud platforms.

- Experience with database validation and SQL.

- Familiarity with performance or security testing concepts.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
