Job Title:AutoCAD Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:-

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in AutoCAD and mechanical design/drafting. The ideal candidate should have experience in 2D detailing, mechanical drawings, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.

Experience: 07 – 12 Years

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Employment Type: Full time

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners to 15 Days preferred

Key Responsibilities:-

- Create and modify detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings based on engineering requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, part drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Interpret engineering specifications, design requirements, and technical drawings.
- Apply GD&T;, dimensional tolerances, welding symbols, and engineering standards.
- Work on structural, sheet metal, weldment, and fabricated components.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain drawing revisions as per engineering change requirements.
- Ensure drawings meet required quality, accuracy,



and project timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve technical/drawing-related queries.

Required Skills:-

- Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D.
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Design & Detailing.
- Experience in Mechanical Drafting, Assembly Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, Structural Drawings, Sheet Metal, Weldments, BOM Preparation, GD&T;
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
