About The Department

- The FTT FTS Managed Services team is a newly established Hyderabad-based team focused on improving the reliability, performance, and resilience of technology services. A Lead Software Engineer guides the team, which brings together Associate Software Engineers, application subject matter experts, and cross-trained Software Engineers. The team works collaboratively using Agile practices and FTT Brand Behaviors.

Joining this growing team offers exposure across applications, infrastructure, data, cloud environments, and production support while building strong operational engineering skills.

How You Will Add Value? Core Responsibilities

- You will monitor applications, dashboards, alerts, batches, jobs, and overall service health.
- You will manage incidents and service requests from intake through closure.
- You will track Service Level Agreements and maintain accurate ticket updates.
- You will troubleshoot application, data, cloud, Linux/Unix, database, and network issues.
- You will analyze logs, validate data, and perform basic Structured Query Language queries.
- You will coordinate incident resolution with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and database teams.
- You will support root cause analysis, remediation, disaster recovery, and service improvements.

Strategic Responsibilities





- You will identify automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and service reliability.
- You will strengthen observability, batch reliability, and release readiness.
- You will use Artificial Intelligence assistants to support coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Team & Collaboration

- You will participate in incident bridges and escalate issues when appropriate.
- You will create status reports, handovers, procedures, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.

What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role? Experience, Education & Certifications

- 1–4 years of relevant technology operations, managed services, or application support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Skills

- Application monitoring, incident management, batch monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language, SELECT queries, and data validation.
- Practical knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services cloud fundamentals.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing and service-management tools.
- Exposure to Control-M, Cron Jobs, CyberArk, MetricStream, SharePoint, or Confluence.
- Ability to use Artificial Intelligence tools responsibly and validate generated outputs.

Soft Skills

- Strong communication, analytical thinking, documentation, and systematic troubleshooting abilities.




- Ownership mindset with commitment to incident closure and Service Level Agreement compliance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operational, and client-facing teams.
