Summary:

UST is looking for a highly skilled GenAI Architect with 12+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud-native application development, and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, AWS cloud services, and Agentic AI frameworks, with a proven ability to design and deliver scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can operate as an individual contributor while providing architectural guidance and team leadership when needed.

The Opportunity:

As a GenAI Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the architecture for next-generation AI platforms and intelligent enterprise applications. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, architects, and product teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing AI solutions leveraging LLMs, AI agents, cloud-native technologies, and modern MLOps practices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

- Define and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Design APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using Python and FastAPI.
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Drive application scalability, performance optimization, and system reliability.

Development & Implementation

- Develop AI-powered applications and enterprise services using Python and modern frameworks.
- Build and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents into business workflows.
- Design advanced orchestration workflows using emerging GenAI frameworks.
- Implement MLOps and DevOps practices for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of AI systems.
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Design and deploy cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
- Optimize AI applications for scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Implement cloud security controls, governance, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with platform teams to establish robust deployment and monitoring strategies.

Leadership & Collaboration





- Serve as a hands-on individual contributor responsible for architecture and solution delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Drive technical decision-making across multiple AI programs and initiatives.

Innovation & Problem Solving

- Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure challenges.
- Evaluate emerging AI frameworks, tools, and technologies.
- Stay current with advancements in GenAI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, AI orchestration, and distributed computing.
- Recommend innovative solutions to accelerate AI adoption and value realization.

What you need:

- 12+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
- Solid expertise in Python application development.
- Proven experience designing and developing APIs using FastAPI.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience building large-scale, distributed, cloud-native applications.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience implementing MLOps and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and microservices design.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while also leading technical teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,



Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture roles.
- Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI and cloud-native solutions.
- Cloud, AI/ML, AWS, or Architecture certifications are preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and enterprise transformation initiatives.
