Role & responsibilities

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Maintenance professional to lead maintenance operations in a chemical/explosives manufacturing workplace. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability, plant uptime, statutory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage maintenance of chemical process plant equipment, HVAC systems, packaging machines, reactors, pumps, compressors, chillers, heat exchangers, and material handling equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements related to maintenance operations.
- Lead a team of 20+ personnel and drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen, energy-saving, and cost optimization initiatives.




- Manage maintenance stores, critical spares, KPIs/KRAs, and plant asset performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Chemical, Explosives, Specialty Chemicals, Pharma, Petrochemical, or Process Industries.
- Strong exposure to maintenance of corrosive chemical handling equipment and utilities.
- Hands-on experience in shutdown planning, maintenance planning, and team management.
