Position: Assistant HR Manager
Location: Mumbai

Reports To: Head of Human Resources
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR skilled with 7 to 8 years of core experience to oversee end-to-end HR operations and drive key people initiatives. In this role, you will lead Performance Management Systems (PMS), oversee HR compliance,
coordinate Learning & Development (L&D;) programs, manage recruitment, and streamline
HR processes using HRMS platforms. The ideal candidate will act as a critical bridge between management and employees to foster high engagement, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes across functions and locations.
- Coordinate employee induction, documentation, and HRMS updates.
- Support performance management, probation reviews, and employee confirmation processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and MIS reports.
- Handle employee grievances and support employee relations initiatives.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Manage employee engagement activities and organizational events.
- Support payroll inputs,
attendance management, leave administration, and benefits coordination.
- Assist in policy implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for HR-related activities.
- Support HR audits and prepare required documentation.
- Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or a related field.
- Bachelors degree from a recognized university.
Experience
- 7 –8 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in FMCG, Healthcare,
Pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
- Experience in recruitment, HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and HR reporting tools.
Other Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valuable knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and travel occasionally, if required.
