We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Architect with strong expertise in AutoCAD and architectural drafting. The candidate will be responsible for architectural planning, design development, preparation of working and GFC drawings, and coordination with Civil, MEP and Site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections and working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and construction documentation.
- Prepare detailed architectural layouts for residential and real-estate projects.
- Modify and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with Civil, Structural and MEP drawings.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand site conditions and monitor execution.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved architectural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers and site teams for drawing-related requirements.
- Identify and resolve design or drawing-related issues during project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of revised drawings.
- Ensure all drawings follow applicable building codes, regulations and planning requirements.
- Prepare detailed drawings required for execution, approvals and project documentation.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of design and drawing requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Revit and SketchUp will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural planning and construction drawings.
- Experience in residential and real-estate projects.
- Good knowledge of building materials, construction methods and detailing.
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple drawings and project requirements within deadlines.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have practical experience in architectural design and execution, excellent AutoCAD drafting skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with site and technical teams.
