About the Role

We are looking for an Automation & Integration Engineer to design and build automation solutions that connect disparate systems and deliver smooth, efficient end-to-end workflows. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable integrations using Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, and API-based tooling.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to integrate disparate systems and enable end-to-end workflows

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions using Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, and related tools

- Create and maintain API-based integrations between platforms

- Write Python scripts and custom logic within Ansible playbooks

- Test and document all integration processes, design decisions, and developed solutions

- Troubleshoot and resolve system integration and workflow issues, ensuring high performance and security

- Continuously monitor and analyze the efficiency of integrated solutions, proposing and implementing improvements

- Participate in regular review sessions with IT peers to discuss designs, share knowledge, and align on best practices

Required Qualifications

- [X]+ years of experience in automation, integration, or DevOps engineering





- Hands-on experience with Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventories, collections)

- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST APIs, workflows, Flow Designer, Integration Hub)

- Strong Python scripting skills

- Experience building and consuming REST APIs (JSON, authentication, webhooks)

- Proficiency with GitHub and Git-based workflows

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Ability to document technical solutions clearly

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Ansible Automation Platform / AWX

- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

- Knowledge of API security (OAuth 2.0, tokens, certificates)

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Linux administration

- ITIL knowledge and Agile/Scrum experience

- Ansible or ServiceNow certification
