We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our engineering team and ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API and integration testing, test automation, and Agile methodologies. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced workplace.

Candidates who have leveraged AI-powered tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT for automation, test development, debugging, and productivity improvements will be highly preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test strategies for complex SaaS applications.
- Create and maintain robust test cases, test plans, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform API, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute existing automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and debug test failures, providing transparent and actionable defect reports.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, UX Designers, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize defects and improve overall product quality.




- Validate backend systems and data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous quality engineering initiatives.
- Contribute to improving automation frameworks, testing processes, and release quality.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Software Testing roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in API and Integration Testing using automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud-based or SaaS products.
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Experience using Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted development tools for automation scripting, test case creation, debugging, and productivity enhancement will be a significant advantage.
- Exposure to microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
