About Position:

We are looking for a talented Android Framework Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, customization, and enhancement of the Android platform. The ideal candidate will work on Android Framework internals, AOSP customization, system services, middleware components, and hardware integration. This role requires strong expertise in Android platform development, native programming, and system-level architecture to deliver high-performance and reliable Android-based solutions.

What You'll Do:

- Develop and customize Android Framework components and core system services.
- Work on AOSP platform development, porting, customization, maintenance, and optimization.
- Design, develop, and enhance Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) modules for device-specific functionality.
- Develop and maintain JNI interfaces between Android Framework and native C/C++ layers.
- Modify and extend Android system components to support new hardware and software requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve framework-level and system-level issues.
- Collaborate with product, hardware, middleware, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Optimize Android platform performance, stability, and resource utilization.
- Participate in Android platform bring-up activities for new devices.
- Debug and analyze issues using Android debugging and profiling tools.
- Review code, contribute to technical discussions, and support architecture decisions.




- Create and maintain technical documentation related to framework and platform components.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Android Platform or Framework Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Android Framework architecture and customization.
- Extensive knowledge of AOSP architecture, build systems, and Android internals.
- Proficiency in Java, C, and C++ programming languages.
- Good understanding and practical experience with JNI (Java Native Interface).
- Experience designing and customizing HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) modules.
- Strong understanding of Android system services, Binder IPC, and framework components.
- Experience with Android boot process, system initialization, and platform services.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Linux-based development environments.
- Experience debugging Android framework and native layer issues.
- Understanding of Android security architecture and permissions framework.
- Knowledge of Android device bring-up and hardware integration processes.
- Experience working with Git, build systems, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting,



and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
