SG Analytics (a Straive company) is hiring an Analyst - Entity Management & Data Solutions for our BFSI domain in Pune. Based on the details outlined in the "Job Description_Analyst_Entity Management(I).pdf" file, this role serves as the primary point of contact for entity management while supporting broader data solutioning and index operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage monthly index rebalancing activities, including entity and security updates, additions, and deletions.

- Create, validate, and maintain accurate entity data, including ISINs, GICS classifications, company structures, and parent-subsidiary mappings.

- Research company and ownership information using annual reports, public disclosures, and databases like Orbis.

- Monitor and implement data updates arising from corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and delistings.

- Investigate and resolve complex entity queries while supporting stakeholder needs with data analysis and process improvements.





- Write basic SQL queries to extract data and develop automation solutions using advanced Excel (Power Query) and AI tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, Data Management, or a related field.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in financial data operations, reference data, entity management, or research.

- Strong understanding of corporate ownership hierarchies, equity and fixed-income securities, and security identifiers.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Power Query, advanced formulas, and data reconciliation.

- Basic SQL skills to extract and analyze data from internal databases.

- Solid analytical, research, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, or Capital IQ, alongside exposure to Python, VBA, or ESG research, is preferred.
