Role & responsibilities

Experience in process engineering for Fertilizer industry, especially for Ammonium fertilizer The Process Engineer shall be involved to define Process Engineering Requirements for the Project.

- Participates in evaluation of Technology Suppliers.
- Participates in evaluation and reviews for Basic Engineering Packages from Technology suppliers and ensures that they meet project Requirements.
- Participates in Evaluation and selection of Detailed Engineering Contractors.
- Shall be involved in detailed Process Engineering evaluations at Basic Engineering and later in Detailed Engineering phases of the project.
- Works to support the other discipline within Owner Teams as required.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- He would lead process engineering activities in projects to deliver Owner Objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational qualifications: Should have a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering.

Back ground Requirements: Minimum of overall about 9 to 15 years experience in Process Engineering with specific experience in handling Fertilizer and Chemical industry projects.



He should have handled jobs having investment in excess of Rs.100 Crores.

Experience with Manufacturing/ Operation/ Maintenance disciplines would be preferable in Fertilizer Industry. Active experience in Engineering office with full knowledge of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction cycle and the processes followed therein.

- Proven working experience in process Engineering with awareness of modern practices.
- Should have handled jobs either in owner organizations or with Engineering Companies and should be familiar with execution models such as EPC LS, EPCM, PMC.
- Should be able to guide Engineering Contractors with inputs and requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language. Knowledge of Foreign languages would be practical.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Project Software.
- Strong people management skills.
- Knowledge of Document management and controls.
- Ability to handle technology packages and interact with such suppliers
