Role overview

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern with a strong understanding of stock markets and trading. Trading knowledge is mandatory for this position.

The intern will contribute to:

AlgoTrade: Market-data processing, strategy signals, ranking, trade validation, order management, and broker integrations.

Algo Ops: AI-powered agents that support development, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

 Develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

 Build user interfaces using React and JavaScript.

 Work on trading strategies, technical indicators, signal processing, and order workflows.

 Develop and improve AI agents for Algo Ops automation.

 Integrate broker APIs, TradingView alerts, OpenAI APIs, AWS services, and Slack.

 Work with MySQL, SQLAlchemy, Redis, and market-data pipelines.

 Monitor AWS logs, investigate failures, and improve system reliability.

 Write unit and integration tests using mocks and test data.

 Document implementations and participate in code reviews.

 Follow strict security and production-safety practices.

Mandatory requirements:

 Working knowledge of stock markets and trading concepts.

 Understanding of BUY/SELL trades, long and short positions, stop-loss, targets, risk-reward, and position sizing.





 Familiarity with technical indicators, candlestick charts, and trading signals.

 Python programming and debugging skills.

 Basic React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge.

 Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and Git.

 Ability to work full time from the Bengaluru office.

Preferred skills

 FastAPI, Flask, SQLAlchemy, MySQL, or Redis.

 AWS services such as Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.

 AI agents, LLM APIs, OpenAI, Claude, or Codex.

 TradingView, Pine Script, webhooks, or broker APIs.

 Slack API integrations and operational alerting.

 Automated testing using unittest or pytest.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
