Truelancer AI is looking for exceptional experts to contribute to an advanced AI Benchmarking Project focused on testing the reasoning capabilities of modern AI systems.

? What’s the Project About?

You’ll use your subject-matter expertise to design and evaluate high-complexity scientific and technical problems —problems that may take a qualified human expert several hours or more to solve.

Your work will help us understand where AI systems succeed, where they struggle, and how well they handle complex reasoning.

? What You’ll Do:

- Design highly complex, challenging problems within your domain
- Develop structured solution approaches and reasoning pathways
- Define assumptions, constraints, edge cases, and expected outcomes
- Explain why a problem is genuinely challenging




- Estimate the effort required for a qualified expert to solve it
- Review problems for correctness, ambiguity, and consistency
- Test problems using modern AI tools and models
- Evaluate AI-generated solutions and identify reasoning failures
- Distinguish genuine reasoning difficulty from poorly defined problems

? What We’re Looking For:

✅ Robust expertise in a scientific, technical, mathematical, or quantitative field

✅ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

✅ Ability to create sophisticated, multi-step problems

✅ Strong attention to detail

✅ Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

✅ Basic familiarity with AI tools / LLMs

✅ Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated answers

? Eligibility:

• PhD preferred in a relevant field

- Master's degree holders with strong relevant expertise may also be considered
- Researchers and experienced professionals with demonstrable domain expertise are encouraged to apply

• No fixed years-of-experience requirement — depth of expertise and quality of thinking matter most
