Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Manager to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, GST, statutory compliance, banking, and finance operations.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in Tally ERP, MS Excel, GST compliance, TDS, statutory filings, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts. The role will also involve coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and management.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.
- Handle purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and expense entries in Tally ERP.
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank records.
- Prepare and review Bank Reconciliation, Debtors/Creditors Reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and other financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables and payables.
- Prepare regular MIS and management reports.

GST & Taxation

- Ensure timely and accurate GST compliance and return filing.
- Review GST data and reconcile books with GST portal/GSTR-2B.
- Coordinate for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and annual GST compliance as applicable.
- Handle GST input tax credit reconciliation and follow-up with vendors where required.
- Ensure proper accounting of GST, RCM, credit notes and debit notes.
- Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for income-tax and other taxation matters.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for tax assessments, notices and audits.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with applicable GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.




- Maintain a compliance calendar and monitor statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants and other professional advisors.
- Prepare required schedules, documents and supporting information for statutory and tax audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory records and financial documentation.
- Keep track of relevant changes in taxation and statutory requirements and ensure necessary actions are taken.

Finance & Administration

- Coordinate with banks for payments, banking transactions and related documentation.
- Review vendor payments and customer collections.
- Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions.
- Support budgeting, financial planning and cash-flow management.
- Provide financial information and reports to management for decision-making.
- Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of Indian accounting and taxation practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet statutory and reporting deadlines.

Preferred

- Experience handling GST reconciliation and filings.
- Experience coordinating with auditors and tax consultants.
- Knowledge of TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Experience in finalization of accounts.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com qualification will be an advantage.
