BACKGROUND

We are a 23-yr young, decorated NGO working to empower the poor and unite people using rationality, everyday science and technology. Amongst our funders/patrons are Microsoft, Google, AutoDesk, Ford Foundation, US and Gujarat Governments, two former PMs, a DyPM, eminent jurists, writers and activists. With their help we served some 1.5 million users. Interns and trainees have come to us from prestigious Indian universities and some from around the world.

We have vacancies in accounts, finance, and admin at HO at Paldi, Ahmedabad, and mostly at TARKIK SADAN, [Google: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9McTAeys8uAQb1Tn7]

a serene campus at Matar 40 KMs from Ahmedabad. We seek professionals at 3 levels.

POSITIONS [Following compensations are net outflows. CTC would be higher.]

1. Jr Accountants: [1-2].

- Compensation to range between Rs. 1.8 – 2.5 L/PA;
- B. Com / BBA or equivalent.
- Min 1-yr exp on FAS in a professional set-up;
- Besides accounting, cash, documentation, assisting in admin and housekeeping.
- Functional English and Hindi/Gujarati and Excel required.
- Location A] At Ahmedabad office, or b] At Matar with subsidized boarding and lodging.

1. Accounts Officer:

- Compensation to range between Rs. 2.0-3.5 L/PA;
- M.Com / MBA / Inter CA or equivalent.
- Min 2-yr exp in accounts including 1-yr in finance function, of which at least 1 yr in supervisory role, in a professional set-up
- Solid Accounting, basic finance, admin, HR, Promotion.
- Proficient in English, Excel and one FAS.
- Posting at Matar with subsidized boarding and lodging.

1. Finance Manager:

- Posting at Matar with subsidized boarding and lodging.
- Compensation to range between Rs. 3.0-4.5 L/PA;
- Masters in Finance or equivalent.
- Min 3-yr officers exp in finance including at least 1 yr in resource mobilization in a professional set-up;
- Proven track record in fund raising, basic statutory compliances,
- Additional roles: HR, Administration, Costing, Public Relations, IT applications, Elementary AI and generally a multi-tasker
- Posting At Matar with subsidized boarding and lodging.
- Suitable Employment for Spouse possible.

ELIGIBILITY: You should

- Be absolutely secular with left-liberal ideological values.
- Be Dexterous with Tally or Busy
- Possess suitable understanding of book-keeping and accounts, business processes and statutory requirements.
- Know good MS Excel, and functional Word, surfing and mailing.
- Be meticulous and a stickler for procedures, protocols and systems and should be punctual and diligent.
- Be courteous yet firm, affable yet discrete, accessible but also reserved and dignified.

Extras We may also consider providing a suitable employment for the spouse. And subsidized boarding and lodging for all residents on the campus.

Proven capabilities in innovative fund sourcing from national / international corporates, CSR, NGOs, developmental agencies, UN affiliates, social media supported fund raising, personal patronage and sourcing from good Samaritans and philanthropists will earn you higher grade, pay and perks.

FOR FRESHERS For inexperienced candidates a 3-month internship with FREE food and accommodation is available at Matar or at Ahmedabad HO.



On satisfactory completion a guaranteed regular job will be offered in a suitable grade commensurate with education and experience.
