About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in the garment export industry. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, balance sheet preparation, reconciliations, export-related accounting, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Experience in a garment export house is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete day-to-day accounting activities for the garment export business.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
- Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Trial Balance, and other financial statements.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing activities.
- Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor customer outstanding and vendor payments.
- Handle accounting related to export sales, purchases, expenses, and shipments.
- Maintain proper records of export invoices, shipping documents, and related accounting entries.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and provide required information/documents.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, expense bills, debit/credit notes, and supporting documents.
- Monitor cash and bank transactions and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare regular MIS and financial reports for management.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely correction.




- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support management during audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, company policies, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Mandatory: Previous experience in a Garment Export House.
- Strong hands-on experience in Balance Sheet and P&L; preparation.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, and MIS preparation.
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory accounting requirements.
- Experience with accounting software/ERP such as Tally or equivalent.
- Good understanding of export-related accounting and documentation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹8,589.16 - ₹50,008.79 per month
