1. Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient health conditions, and assisting doctors in medical procedures. The role involves maintaining patient safety, adhering to hospital protocols, and ensuring proper documentation of nursing care.

2. Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Assess patients' health conditions and promptly report any changes to the concerned doctor.
- Assist doctors during medical procedures, examinations, and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing records, patient charts, and treatment documentation.
- Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and biomedical waste segregation.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure the safe handling and maintenance of medical equipment and nursing supplies.
- Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Must possess valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council or the applicable State Nursing Council.

4. Experience

- Freshers or experienced candidates may apply.
- Experience in a multispeciality hospital is preferred.

6. Working Conditions

- Full-time hospital-based position.
- Rotational shifts, including day and night duties.
- Must adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
- May be required to work in emergency situations and high-pressure clinical environments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹42,175.60 per month
