Profile: Factory Manager

Experience:

12-15+ years in textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years leading a plant or multi-unit factory operations Core competence in production — a hands-on, floor-driven operator Prior experience in a professionally run textile company; exposure to weaving, knitting, embroidery, or printing processes strongly preferred Experience handling operations at a turnover scale of Rs. 100+ Cr About the role:

The organization is a well-established textile manufacturing group with four divisions operating from one integrated campus — Schiffli Embroidery, Airjet Weaving, Warp Knitting, and Digital Printing. The company is on a robust growth path and is looking for a Factory Manager to lead this journey from the shop floor.

Take complete operational ownership of the factory across all four divisions, drive production efficiency close to 100%, and build the systems and processes needed to scale the business professionally.

Roles:





Support day-to-day factory operations across production, planning, quality, maintenance, and dispatch Assist in driving machine utilisation and plant efficiency across divisions Help monitor costs, identify waste, and support manpower optimisation Support implementation of SOPs, daily MIS, and review systems Assist in deploying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), Kaizen, 5S, and TPM practices Coordinate with division HODs and functional heads (quality, maintenance, dispatch, HR, accounts) Support shop-floor discipline and manpower productivity initiatives Ensure adherence to safety and statutory compliance norms Qualification:

Diploma/Degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field Background in textile manufacturing operations
