Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer | Power Transformer Tanks

Experience: 3-10 years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./Diploma – Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer experienced in large power transformer tank design and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop large power transformer tanks and fabricated components.
- Prepare GA, fabrication and detailed drawings using AutoCAD/3D CAD.
- Design tank components including stiffeners, flanges, covers, lifting arrangements, jacking pads and mounting arrangements.
- Prepare BOM and material specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Welding and Quality teams for design feasibility.




- Carry out/coordinate structural and tank strength calculations.
- Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards and customer specifications.
- Provide technical support for fabrication and resolve design-related issues.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Power Transformer Tank Design / Heavy Fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; 3D CAD knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, materials and structural design.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
