Civil Engineer – Finishing Works

Job Summary
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in building construction, with strong hands-on experience in finishing works and site execution.

The role involves taking rooms/areas from work-in-progress to quality-approved, snag-free handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise floor-wise and room-wise finishing works.
- Manage tiling, stone, painting, putty, waterproofing, doors, false ceiling, partitions and joinery.
- Check levels, slopes, alignment, workmanship and finishing quality.
- Coordinate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire-fighting and other MEP works.
- Conduct inspections, prepare and close snag/punch lists.
- Ensure proper work sequence and minimize rework.
- Coordinate finishing contractors, vendors and daily manpower.
- Check materials, quantities, measurements and contractor bills.
- Maintain daily site reports and monitor progress.
- Ensure site safety, housekeeping and protection of completed works.
- Support final testing, cleaning and area handover.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 4–8 years of relevant finishing/site execution experience.
- Solid knowledge of building finishing works and quality control.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and architectural/MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of Excel and site reporting.
- Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hospital, hotel,



institutional or premium commercial project experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to work predominantly at the construction site.

Preferred Candidate:

A detail-oriented engineer with a strong eye for workmanship, who can independently manage contractors and ensure quality, timely completion and snag-free handover
