Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to operate CNC laser cutting machines for precision cutting of MS (Mild Steel), GI and other sheet metal materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machine for sheet metal cutting.
- Read and understand 2D CAD drawings and cutting layouts.
- Load and unload MS/GI sheets safely onto the machine.
- Set machine parameters such as laser power, cutting speed, gas pressure and focus according to material thickness.
- Check and verify cutting dimensions and quality as per drawings.
- Perform basic machine setup, nozzle checking and routine maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic cutting issues such as burrs, slag, incomplete cutting and dimensional variations.
- Maintain proper records of production quantities and material usage.
- Follow safety procedures while operating the machine.
- Coordinate with the Design and Production teams for drawings, nesting and production requirements.




- Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of the machine and surrounding area.

Required Skills

- Experience in operating CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines.
- Knowledge of MS/GI sheet metal cutting and different material thicknesses.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / CNC cutting software / nesting software is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of machine settings and cutting parameters.
- Ability to identify and rectify basic machine/cutting problems.
- Safety-conscious and responsible attitude.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in CNC Laser Cutting Machine operation preferred.
Experienced candidates with relevant sheet-metal cutting knowledge can also apply.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification preferred.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience, skills and interview performance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
