Position: Senior / Lead SiEPAN Estimation Engineer

Department: Engineering / Proposals

Reporting To: Head – Estimation / Business Development

Location: Shivane, Pune.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The SiEPAN Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and

competitive cost estimates for Siemens SiEPAN LV switchgear panels and associated

electrical systems. The role supports the sales and projects team by analysing

technical specifications, preparing BOQs, costing, and commercial inputs for tenders

and customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Estimation Responsibilities

 Study tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs related

to SiEPAN LV switchgear panels.

 Prepare detailed cost estimates including panel hardware, busbars, breakers,

MCCBs, ACBs, protection relays, metering, wiring, and accessories.

 Perform make–break analysis and ensure compliance with Siemens SiEPAN

design guidelines and standards.

 Select appropriate components as per customer specifications, IEC standards,

and project requirements.

 Prepare GA-based estimations in coordination with the design/engineering

team.

Commercial & Proposal Support

 Prepare techno-commercial offers including cost sheets, deviation

statements, and clarifications.

 Coordinate with procurement for vendor pricing, lead times, and cost

optimization.

 Support the sales team during tender negotiations and pre-bid / post-bid

discussions.

 Analyse cost risks and propose value-engineering alternatives where





applicable.

Coordination & Documentation

 Liaise with Siemens technical teams, vendors, and internal departments for

approvals and technical clarifications.

 Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical pricing for

reference.

 Ensure timely submission of estimates and proposals as per tender

schedules.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

 Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

 6–12 years of experience in estimation of LV switchgear panels

 Hands-on experience with Siemens SiEPAN panels is mandatory or strongly

preferred.

Technical Skills

 Strong knowledge of LV switchgear systems and components

 Familiarity with IEC standards, short-circuit calculations, and panel ratings.

 Understanding of SLDs, GA drawings, and BOQs

 Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP / costing tools

 Ability to interpret technical specifications and tender documents.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
