English Teacher – Classes 6 to 8

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated English Teacher to teach Classes 6–8 in our ICSE-pattern school. The teacher should have strong command of English grammar, literature, writing and communication skills and should be able to create an engaging and disciplined classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach English language and literature to Classes 6–8.
- Prepare lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Conduct classwork, homework, tests and examinations.
- Check notebooks and provide constructive feedback.
- Improve students’ grammar, vocabulary, writing and spoken English.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
- Prepare students for school examinations.
- Coordinate with other teachers and school management.




- Maintain proper academic records and assessment reports.

Requirements:

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in English preferred.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Classes 6–8, preferably in an ICSE school.
- Excellent English communication and grammar skills.
- Good classroom management and teaching ability.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also be considered.
