We are building secure, scalable backend platforms and need a Lead Software Engineer - Java with Spring Boot to drive design and delivery. You will shape architecture, deliver Java microservices on Azure Cloud and Serverless, and raise engineering quality through reviews and standards—apply now.

Responsibilities

- Design and build enterprise-grade applications with Java and Spring Boot
- Architect and deliver microservices-based solutions deployed to cloud platforms
- Implement and connect RESTful APIs between backend services and frontend applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship scalable, maintainable solutions
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers with actionable technical guidance
- Contribute to architectural decisions to meet quality, security, reliability and compliance expectations
- Apply Agile and DevOps best practices across the full software development lifecycle
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and enable continuous delivery workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full application stack
- Deploy and operate services using containerization and orchestration tooling

Requirements





- Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) designing and building solutions using Java 21, Quarkus and Java/JEE
- Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security and JUnit
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase and PL/SQL
- Solid background in microservices architecture, Azure Cloud and Serverless
- Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, including pods, containers, services and Istio
- Practical experience with Docker and Redis
- Robust skills building RESTful APIs and integrating backend with frontend
- Proven track record using Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field

Nice to have

- Knowledge of UI technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and React (including Hooks)
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with performance tuning and DevOps practices
- Ability to translate UX designs into responsive, scalable and maintainable UI implementations using industry standards and patterns
