HPDC Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities

- Responsible for preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of HPDC machines and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and automation-related problems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HPDC machines, die casting systems, hydraulic pumps, valves, motors and servo systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD/servo drives, sensors, proximity switches, limit switches, relays and contactors.
- Maintain and troubleshoot die lubrication systems, hydraulic systems, cooling-water circuits and temperature-control systems.
- Maintain shot sleeve, plunger lubrication system, accumulator, intensifier and injection system.
- Troubleshoot die cooling, water lines, air lines and pneumatic circuits.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ladle/auto ladling systems, conveyors, extraction systems and trimming equipment.
- Maintain furnaces, holding furnaces, heaters, thermocouples and temperature controllers associated with the HPDC process.
- Attend machine breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis (RCA) to reduce machine downtime.
- Execute scheduled PM activities and maintain PM checklists, breakdown reports and machine history records.
- Monitor machine parameters such as hydraulic pressure, oil temperature, injection pressure, cycle time and motor/servo performance.
- Maintain auxiliary equipment such as industrial chillers, cooling towers, compressors, die-temperature controllers and vacuum systems.
- Support installation,



commissioning and modification of HPDC machines and automation equipment.
- Maintain critical spare parts and coordinate with stores and purchase teams.
- Coordinate with production, quality, tooling and process teams to resolve machine-related problems.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for repeated breakdowns.
- Follow LOTO, electrical safety, machine safety, 5S and preventive maintenance standards.

- HPDC machine electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
- VFD and servo drive troubleshooting.
- Injection/shot system and accumulator maintenance.
- Die lubrication and cooling systems.
- Furnace, heater and temperature-control systems.
- Motors, pumps, valves, sensors and safety interlocks.
- Electrical control panels and industrial wiring.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Breakdown troubleshooting and RCA.
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
