Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of construction projects. The candidate must have solid hands-on experience in building construction, particularly commercial buildings, residential flats, and villas.

Experience in commercial buildings, flats, or villas is mandatory. Candidates with only road construction or bridge construction experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects.
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities and ensure work progresses as per the approved project schedule.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress against planned timelines and identify delays or deviations.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Review drawings and coordinate with consultants for technical clarifications.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required for project execution.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of construction materials.
- Supervise and monitor the execution of civil, structural, finishing, and other building construction activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of work.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate project meetings and follow up on action points.




- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation and records.
- Support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones, quality standards, and completion targets.
- Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site practices.

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry.
- Hands-on experience in construction sites is mandatory.
- Experience in commercial buildings, residential flats/apartments, and villas is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, including civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site execution.
- Experience in coordinating contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Strong project coordination, planning, and monitoring skills.
- Good knowledge of construction quality and safety practices.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project/Primavera will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively under project deadlines.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Important – Experience Criteria

Only candidates with relevant experience in building construction projects such as commercial buildings, flats/apartments, and villas will be considered.

Candidates whose experience is primarily in road construction, bridge construction, highway projects, or similar infrastructure projects need not apply.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
