Job Summary

Utkarsh Global Foundation is seeking experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeons to lead high-volume sterilization (ABC) and surgical programs across operational locations in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should possess strong surgical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-volume Animal Birth Control (ABC) surgeries with precision and care
- Conduct surgeries including pyometra, fracture repair, mass excision, and other soft tissue procedures
- Lead and supervise surgical teams during sterilization and treatment drives
- Ensure adherence to animal welfare, hygiene, and surgical protocols
- Maintain accurate surgical records and reporting documentation




- Coordinate with internal teams and animal welfare NGOs
- Monitor post-operative care and recovery processes
- Support field programs and emergency medical interventions when required

Eligibility Criteria

- BVSc & AH degree is mandatory
- Valid registration with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council
- Minimum 5 years of surgical experience preferred
- Proven experience of conducting 2000–3000+ ABC surgeries
- Experience performing 20+ small animal soft tissue surgeries required
- Prior experience with animal welfare NGOs or high-volume sterilization programs preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
