We are looking for an experienced GECX Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade virtual assistants, speech-to-text pipelines, and generative AI integrations on Google Cloud Platform.

Job Overview
As a GECX Developer, you will play a critical role in engineering advanced conversational interfaces, transitioning legacy IVRs to intelligent voicebots, and orchestrating serverless backend architectures. You will possess a deep understanding of Google Cloud's Contact Center AI (CCAI) ecosystem, combined with backend engineering rigor and generative AI application frameworks.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Conversational AI Engineering & IVR Migration: Architect and implement high-fidelity virtual assistants, leading the migration of legacy telephony networks to contemporary Dialogflow CX and CCAI voicebots.
GenAI & Agentic Orchestration: Construct non-linear dialog setups utilizing Google Playbooks, Gemini integrations, and enterprise Datastores (via Vertex AI Agent Builder) to minimize hallucinations.
Real-time Webhook Development: Write, test, and deploy scalable, low-latency webhook microservices utilizing serverless cloud setups (GCP Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) built on Python and Node.js.
Live-Agent Handoff: Architect real-time streaming architectures using WebSockets, Pub/Sub, and bidirectional streaming APIs to cleanly hand off live conversation transcripts to contact center agents (e.g., LivePerson, Salesforce).
Analytics & Performance Optimization: Parse conversational log data in BigQuery and design analytical reports using Looker and Cloud Logging to continuously optimize virtual agent routing and intent classification.

Technical Skills & Core Competency Requirements




Candidates will be evaluated against the following core technical dimensions:

1. CCAI & Conversational AI Core
Platforms: Dialogflow CX, Dialogflow ES.
Core NLU: Expert handling of Route Groups, Intent Mapping, Entity Recognition, Context Handling, and Google ADK.
Agent Assist: Experience designing tools with CCAI Agent Assist and Google Playbooks.

2. Backend & Webhooks Integration
Languages & Frameworks: Node.js (Express.js), Python.
APIs & Compute: RESTful API design, serverless deployments using Google Cloud Run and Google Cloud Functions.
Security: Solid grasp of Auth workflows, including OAuth and JWT.

3. Real-time & Telephony Streaming
Speech Technologies: Google Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS).
Telephony Gateways: Dialogflow CX Phone Gateway, Twilio WebSockets, AudioCodes.
Integration Protocols: Bidirectional streaming APIs and live-agent platform handoffs (Salesforce, LivePerson).

4. GenAI, RAG & Agentic Workflows
Search & Orchestration: Vertex AI Agent Builder (Enterprise Datastores integration), LangChain, LangGraph.
Generative Models: Gemini integration, LLM Prompt Engineering.
Reliability: Implementation of Code Block validation techniques for mitigating LLM hallucinations.

5. GCP Infra & Analytics
Data & Logging: BigQuery (parsing conversation logs), Firestore, Cloud Logging.
Visualization: Looker dashboarding.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) certification.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
Proven experience delivering production-grade conversational AI systems, virtual assistants, or telephony systems.
