About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to design engaging and standards-aligned learning experiences for US Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses.

You will work closely with US-based Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop learning activities, assessments, lesson plans, and storyboards. The role also involves reviewing and improving AI-generated content to ensure quality, accuracy, and instructional alignment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design learning activities and assessments aligned with learning objectives and US CTE standards.
- Create storyboards, lesson plans, activities, and assessments for digital learning courses.
- Work with US-based Instructional Designers and SMEs to develop learner-focused content.
- Align content with US state and industry standards such as TEKS and Florida CTE frameworks.
- Develop formative, summative, and performance-based assessments.
- Review and refine AI-generated content for accuracy, quality, and instructional effectiveness.
- Ensure content is suitable for digital learning platforms/LMS.




- Incorporate feedback from US teams and SMEs and deliver work within timelines.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of experience in Instructional Design or curriculum development.
- At least 3 years of experience working on US K-12, CTE, or Higher Education projects.
- Robust knowledge of Instructional Design and assessment development.
- Familiarity with US CTE clusters, pathways, standards, CTSOs, and industry certifications.
- Excellent written and spoken English (CEFR C1–C2 / native-like proficiency).
- Experience creating storyboards, assessments, lesson plans, and instructional activities.
- Working knowledge of WCAG/accessibility guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Articulate Storyline/Rise and LMS platforms such as Canvas.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, English, or a related field.

Preferred

- Experience in CTE or workforce development curriculum and assessment design.
- Experience working with US-based ID teams, education publishers, or institutions.
- Experience using Generative AI tools for content development.

Selection Process

Candidates will be required to complete a writing/English proficiency assessment as part of the selection process.
