Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and trading business finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books of accounts including purchase, sales, and expense ledgers
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS returns, and other statutory filings
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analysis for management
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Monitor stock/inventory valuation and reconcile with physical stock records
- Manage banking operations including LC, bank guarantees, and fund flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST,



and other applicable laws
- Oversee petty cash, expense claims, and payroll-related accounting
- Liaise with CA firms, banks, and government departments as required
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com/CA Inter/CMA Inter preferred)
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading, distribution, or manufacturing sectors
- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel; knowledge of other ERP systems is a plus
- Good understanding of import/export documentation and trade finance (LC, BG) is an advantage, given the industry
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and integrity in handling financial data
