Profile - Sr Executive / AM - Logistics

Qualification - Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Commerce / Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience - Min 5+ years of relevant logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

Salary - Upto 45 to 50k + Food + Accommodation

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Logistics with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, transportation, dispatch planning, vendor coordination, documentation, and timely delivery of materials and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations for the manufacturing plant.

* Plan and coordinate dispatches, transportation, and delivery schedules.

* Coordinate with production, stores, purchase, sales, and customers to ensure timely movement of materials.

* Manage transporters, logistics vendors, drivers, and freight partners.

* Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.

* Monitor vehicle placement, loading, unloading, transit, and delivery status.

* Prepare and maintain dispatch documents, invoices, e-way bills, LR/GRN and other logistics documentation.

* Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, shortages, damages, and delivery issues.

* Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for freight cost optimization.





* Maintain logistics MIS reports covering dispatches, freight costs, vehicle utilization, pending deliveries, and transporter performance.

* Coordinate with stores for material receipt, loading, unloading, and inventory movement.

* Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and applicable transportation regulations.

* Maintain proper records of transporter bills, freight invoices, PODs, and delivery documents.

* Evaluate transporter performance and support vendor negotiations where required.

* Implement process improvements to improve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery and logistics efficiency.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of manufacturing logistics and supply chain operations.

Experience in transportation management, dispatch planning, and transporter coordination.

Positive knowledge of logistics documentation and e-way bill processes.

Strong MS Excel and ERP/SAP skills.

Strong communication and vendor-management skills.
