Job Summary

The Mine Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate surveys of mining areas, preparing mine plans and maps, monitoring excavation progress, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role involves using advanced surveying equipment and software to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSurveying Operations

- Conduct topographical, boundary, and mine surveys for mining projects.
- Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
- Measure and record mine workings, excavation progress, and stockpile volumes.
- Carry out periodic surveys to monitor mine development and production.

Mapping & Documentation

- Prepare and update mine plans, sections, contour maps, and survey drawings.
- Maintain accurate survey records and statutory plans as per mining regulations.
- Generate reports related to mine progress, reserves, and land utilization.
- Ensure all survey data is properly documented and archived.

Equipment & Technology

- Operate Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level, Drone Survey Systems, and other surveying instruments.
- Use survey software such as AutoCAD, Minescape, Surpac, ArcGIS, or similar applications.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of survey equipment.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure compliance with DGMS regulations, mining laws, and statutory requirements.
- Support mine management during inspections and audits.
- Follow all safety procedures and promote safe work practices.
- Assist in preparing survey-related reports for regulatory authorities.

Coordination





- Coordinate with mining engineers, geologists, and production teams.
- Provide survey data for mine planning and operational decision-making.
- Assist in resource estimation and mine development activities.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering, Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (preferred).
- Knowledge of mining regulations and surveying standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
