The Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering cybersecurity projects across client environments, ensuring that scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and deliverables are effectively managed. The role will coordinate closely with cybersecurity consultants, technical teams, clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires strong project management discipline combined with a practical understanding of cybersecurity services and technology projects. The Project Manager will own project governance, track delivery commitments, manage escalations and ensure clear communication between technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects from initiation and planning through execution, closure and handover.
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, resources, dependencies and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity consultants, engineers, architects and client teams to ensure timely completion of project activities.
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies and action items, ensuring appropriate escalation and follow-through.
- Manage project governance, including status meetings, progress reporting, project documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor project scope and manage change requests to minimise uncontrolled changes and delivery impact.
- Track resource requirements and utilisation in coordination with practice leads and technical teams.
- Work with clients to understand delivery expectations, communicate project status and resolve project-level issues and dependencies.
- Ensure project deliverables undergo appropriate internal review and meet agreed quality and documentation standards before client submission.
- Support multiple concurrent cybersecurity engagements while maintaining visibility of priorities, schedules and delivery risks.





Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in project management, technology consulting or IT/cybersecurity project delivery, with experience independently managing projects.
- Experience managing projects involving cybersecurity, information security, IT infrastructure, cloud or related technology services.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk and issue management, change management and project governance.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity domains such as SOC, SIEM, VAPT, GRC, IAM, cloud security, data security or security implementation projects.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Confluence or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and understand project dependencies without requiring deep hands-on cybersecurity expertise.
- Strong experience in client/stakeholder communication, project status reporting and escalation management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and delivery timelines in a client-facing environment.
- Solid documentation, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PMI-ACP or equivalent project management certifications are preferred.
- Experience working with a cybersecurity consulting firm, MSSP or technology services organisation will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF or related cybersecurity standards is preferred.
