Key responsibilities

Are you passionate about sustainability, ESG reporting, and strong governance practices? Do you enjoy working with complex reporting requirements and influencing stakeholders across a global organisation? Do you want to help shape the quality, transparency, and integrity of our sustainability disclosures?

We are looking for a Sustainability Controller to strengthen the governance, controls, and oversight of our Group’s sustainability reporting and disclosures.

- enhance the governance framework for sustainability reporting, including processes, timelines, documentation standards, and control requirements for metric and disclosure owners

- act as a subject matter expert on sustainability reporting topics, providing guidance on metrics, disclosures, reporting requirements, and control frameworks across multiple stakeholders

- perform analytical and content reviews of Group sustainability disclosures, assessing reporting revisions and their impacts on published information

- support sustainability reporting assurance activities by coordinating with auditors and internal stakeholders throughout the review process

- define, conduct, and review sustainability reporting risk assessments to identify and mitigate reporting risks

- integrate new ESG regulations, disclosure requirements, and reporting standards into business-as-usual processes

The team

You’ll be joining our Sustainability Controlling team in Pune, part of the Sustainability CFO function. The team is responsible for the controls, governance, and oversight required to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Group’s sustainability reporting.



We manage the full ESG reporting lifecycle and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver high-quality, transparent, and reliable disclosures. Our team values collaboration, accountability, and a strong controls mindset, while fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives help us achieve better outcomes.

Your skills and experience

- professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent designation

- more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry or an accounting firm, with strong experience in controlling and financial reporting

- solid knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS and US GAAP, with an understanding of banking products and financial services

- experience in sustainability reporting, including knowledge of ESG disclosure frameworks, emerging regulations, and reporting standards

- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, identify risks, and develop effective solutions

- proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across organisational levels, including senior leadership

- excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and practical way

- experience in change management and delivering projects from initiation through implementation is an advantage
