Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for independently handling the complete merchandising and production process, from product development and sampling through approvals, bulk production, testing, and shipment.

- Independently handle sample development, sample follow-up, approvals, and production for scarves, garments , bags, beachwear and other fashion accessories.
- Coordinate design development, sampling, production, and buyer approvals.
- Have strong knowledge of garment sampling and production, including patterns, pattern understanding, garment construction, and measurements.
- Handle multiple styles and orders simultaneously while ensuring timely execution.
- Coordinate with factories and suppliers for production fabrics, trims, accessories, labels, packaging, and other components.
- Handle fabric, trims, labels, accessories, and other production-related ordering and follow-up.
- Coordinate and obtain SMS (Salesman Sample) approvals and other buyer approvals within the required timelines.
- Handle Pre-Production Samples (PPS) and ensure all buyer comments are incorporated before bulk production.
- Maintain complete and updated production files, style files, sample records, approval records, and buyer communication.
- Prepare and maintain Production Status Reports and TNA (Time and Action) calendars.
- Closely monitor production timelines and ensure all stages are completed according to buyer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Maintain regular communication with international buying houses and buyers and provide timely updates regarding sampling, approvals, production, testing,



and shipment.
- Understand and follow buyer tech packs, specifications, measurements, construction details, artwork, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate and carry out laboratory testing as per buyer requirements and tech packs, including follow-up of test reports and corrective actions.
- Source and develop suitable fabrics, trims, laces, labels, embellishments, accessories, and other components.
- Coordinate with factories, suppliers, printers, embroiderers, dyers, and other vendors to ensure smooth and timely production.
- Closely follow up on fabric dyeing, printing, embroidery, washing, finishing, and other value-added processes.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples, buyer specifications, quality standards, and required delivery timelines.

Product & Technical Knowledge

The candidate must have strong practical knowledge of:

- Garment manufacturing, sampling, and production.
- Pattern understanding and garment construction.
- Scarves and scarf manufacturing.
- Beachwear and related apparel products.
- Bags and fashion accessories manufacturing.
- Different types of fabrics and their properties.
- Fabric dyeing, washing, and finishing processes.




- Printing techniques and print development.
- Embroidery techniques and production processes – strong knowledge of embroidery is essential.
- Trims, laces, labels, embellishments, and accessories.
- Understanding and interpretation of buyer tech packs and specifications.
- Product development, sample development, and production quality requirements.

Design & Software Skills

The candidate should have valuable knowledge of:

- CAD designing.
- Adobe Illustrator.
- Adobe Photoshop.
- Other relevant Adobe design applications.
- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and work with prints, artworks, embroidery layouts, patterns, technical drawings, and design details.

Buyer & Communication Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Must be confident in communicating directly with international buying houses, buyers, and buying-house teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate development, sampling, production, quality, approval, and delivery-related matters.
- Must be capable of independently following up with buyers, factories, and suppliers.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify production issues and ensure timely resolution.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
