We are looking for an energetic, communicative, and motivated Student Counsellor to join our team at the Barasat Skill Development Center. The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, explaining training course details, and assisting them through the admission process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel walk-in students, explain course details, basic banking and microfinance opportunities and assist them with admissions.
- Manage student enquiries, follow up on leads via calls and complete registration documentation.
- Guide candidates on course benefits, eligibility criteria and career/placement opportunities.
- Maintain student databases,
track enquiry status and ensure center enrollment goals are met.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: Prior experience in student counselling, tele-calling, or admission management in training institutes or skill development projects (e.g., PBSSD, DDU-GKY) preferred. Freshers with robust communication skills can also apply.
- Skills: Good communication skills, good interpersonal skills and strong convincing ability.
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Barasat will be given preference.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
