Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern (R&D; Projects)

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Research & Development team for a six-month internship. The intern will work on live engineering projects involving the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems and laboratory test setups. This role offers hands-on experience in research, product development, and engineering validation.

Internship Projects

1. Short Circuit Test Setup Research

- Research international standards related to short-circuit testing.
- Study available short-circuit testing methods and equipment.
- Assist in designing a laboratory short-circuit test setup.
- Support component selection and preparation of technical documentation.
- Participate in testing and validation activities.

2. Gas-Based Corrosion Chamber Design

- Research corrosion testing methods using various gases.
- Study IEC, ASTM, and ISO standards related to corrosion testing.
- Assist in designing a controlled gas corrosion chamber.
- Support selection of sensors, gas control systems, and safety mechanisms.
- Help prepare engineering drawings and technical reports.

3. Thermal Effectiveness Chamber Design

- Research thermal testing methodologies for electrical and electronic products.
- Assist in designing a thermal effectiveness/environmental test chamber.
- Evaluate heating, cooling, airflow, and temperature control systems.
- Support testing, calibration,



and performance validation.
- Document design calculations and experimental results.

4. UV Validation Application Research

- Research UV testing applications for material and product validation.
- Study UV exposure standards and validation techniques.
- Assist in selecting UV light sources, sensors, and control systems.
- Support the development of UV validation procedures.
- Prepare technical reports and validation documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct technical research using engineering journals, standards, and published literature.
- Assist in conceptual design and prototype development.
- Prepare electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
- Support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes.
- Perform electrical measurements and record test data.
- Prepare project reports and presentations.
- Participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
- Follow laboratory safety and engineering best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams whenever required.

Educational Qualification

- Pursuing or recently completed:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering




- Instrumentation Engineering
- Final-year students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and power systems.
- Knowledge of electrical components and protection devices.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Basic understanding of research methodology and technical documentation.
