Roles & Responsibilities

1. Labour Management

· Manage and supervise labour at the construction site.

· Allocate manpower according to daily work requirements.

· Monitor labour attendance, productivity, and work performance.

· Coordinate with contractors and workers to ensure smooth execution of work.

2. Daily Activity Planning

· Prepare and communicate daily work plans as per the project schedule.

· Allocate work activities to workers and subcontractors.

· Coordinate with the Site Engineer regarding upcoming activities and requirements.

3. Basic Quantity Estimation

· Take basic site measurements and estimate quantities of materials and work.

· Maintain records of daily work quantities and manpower deployed.

· Coordinate with the Site Engineer for material and quantity requirements.

4. Daily Work Control

· Supervise ongoing construction activities and ensure work is completed as planned.

· Monitor progress and report daily work status to the Site Engineer.

· Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, instructions, specifications, and project requirements.





· Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.

5. Site Housekeeping

· Ensure proper cleanliness and housekeeping at the work site.

· Ensure construction materials, tools, and equipment are properly arranged and stored.

· Keep work areas free from unnecessary debris and obstructions.

· Support the team in maintaining a safe and organized working workplace.

Key Skills & Competencies

· Valuable knowledge of construction site activities.

· Ability to manage and control labour effectively.

· Basic knowledge of quantity measurement and estimation.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.

· Solid supervision and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

· Knowledge of basic construction safety and housekeeping practices.
