We are looking for an experienced Garment Merchandiser to manage the product development and order execution process from initial requirement to final production. The candidate will coordinate closely with design, sampling, sourcing, production, quality and sales teams to ensure products are developed and delivered as per specifications, quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the complete merchandising cycle from product development to bulk production and dispatch.
- Understand buyer/customer requirements, tech packs, specifications, measurements and design details.
- Coordinate with the design team for samples, artwork, colourways, fabrics, trims and accessories.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, costing sheets, T&A; (Time & Action) plans and production follow-ups.
- Coordinate with fabric and trims suppliers for timely sourcing and availability.
- Follow up on sampling, fit approvals, size sets, pre-production samples and production approvals.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are executed as per approved specifications.
- Track production timelines and proactively highlight delays or issues.
- Ensure correct fabric, colour, trims, labels, packaging and construction details are followed during production.
- Coordinate with the quality team to resolve quality issues and ensure buyer requirements are met.
- Maintain detailed records of styles, orders, samples, approvals and production status.
- Work closely with the accounts/sales team on order quantities, pricing and commercial requirements where required.




- Communicate regularly with internal teams and customers/buyers regarding order status.
- Support in handling revisions, repeat orders and new product development.
- Ensure timely dispatch of completed orders as per agreed timelines.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust knowledge of garment manufacturing and merchandising processes.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, measurements and sizing.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel for maintaining order trackers, costing sheets and production reports.
- Ability to read and understand tech packs and garment specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in specifications, samples and production.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Garment Technology or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in garment merchandising.
- Experience in sportswear, activewear, teamwear or performance apparel will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with garment manufacturers/export houses or sportswear brands will be preferred.
