JOB DESCRIPTION

- Provide immediate and productive nursing care to patients in emergency and critical situations.
- Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and prioritization based on the severity of the condition.
- Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the medical team.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, resuscitation, and trauma management.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain emergency equipment, crash carts, and necessary supplies in a ready-to-use condition.
- Assist in CPR and other life-saving interventions when required.
- Prepare and transfer patients safely for investigations, admission, surgery, or referral.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary emergency care team.

REQUIREMENTS

- B.Sc. Nursing
- Valid Kerala Nursing Council registration
- Experience in Emergency Department / Casualty
