Position Details
Department: Marine Operation
Location: Pipavav, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full time (Field-Based)
Profile:
- Experience in coordinating with government authorities, port officials, classification societies, clients, contractors, and service providers
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and operational documentation
- Preferably a prior experience in shipyards, marine operations, vessel management, tug operations, offshore projects, or heavy engineering industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marine Operations and Field Coordination
- Represent the company on the ground for towage and marine operations
- Travel regularly between Bhavnagar and shipyards, ports, client locations, and project sites
- Coordinate vessel mobilisation, demobilisation, towing operations, and related marine activities
- Give management real-time updates on operations
2. Towage Division Support
- Coordinate between vessel crews, clients, shipyards, and management so projects run efficiently
- Track vessel schedules, crew movements, project milestones, and operational needs
- Help plan resource allocation, manpower deployment, and logistics
3. Compliance and Documentation
- Work with the Administration department on statutory, contractual, and operational compliance
- Follow up on permits, gate passes, port clearances, vessel and crew documents, and project approvals
- Maintain records of vessel certificates, statutory documents, inspection reports, and operational logs
- Submit all project documentation accurately and on time
4. Technical and Project Support
- Help management assess technical requirements at project sites and shipyards
- Coordinate inspections, surveys, maintenance, and repairs for vessels and marine equipment
- Support execution teams during mobilisation, commissioning, and operations
- Identify operational and safety risks and recommend corrective actions
5. Stakeholder Management
- Be the main field contact for clients, shipyard representatives, port authorities, contractors, and vendors
- Attend project meetings, operational reviews, inspections, and site visits
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders at each location
- Coordinate solutions to operational problems and escalate critical issues to management.
6. Reporting and Management Support
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Keep records of project status, vessel utilisation, site visits, and compliance activities
- Help prepare presentations, project summaries, and management reports
Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 / per month
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
