Job description

We are hiring experienced professionals to counsel students who wish to study abroad and to manage our counselling teams and branches. Depending on the position, the selected candidate will guide students from their first enquiry through course selection, university applications, offers and visa-stage coordination, or lead the team responsible for that work.

Key responsibilities

- Understand each student’s academic background, career goals, preferred country, intake, English test status and budget.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities and courses based on eligibility and career fit.
- Explain admission requirements, estimated total costs, deadlines and application risks clearly to students and parents.
- Follow up on leads, counselling appointments, documents, applications, offers and visa-stage tasks.
- Maintain complete and accurate student records in the CRM.
- Coordinate with the applications, visa, IELTS, marketing and accounts teams.
- Give students timely updates and resolve pending cases without missing deadlines.
- Work towards individual, team or branch targets appropriate to the position.

For Senior Student Counsellor,Team Leader, positions, responsibilities also include:

- Allocate leads and review counsellor follow-ups and student cases.
- Train and support counsellors on profiling, counselling quality and conversion.
- Monitor team performance, service quality,



CRM updates and pending work.
- Handle escalations from students and parents.
- Prepare performance reports and action plans.
- Manage team or branch targets and coordinate with other departments.

Required qualifications and skills

- Relevant, hands-on experience in a study abroad consultancy is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of overseas university admissions and student visa-stage coordination.
- Strong student and parent counselling skills.
- Ability to explain eligibility, costs and timelines accurately.
- Valuable follow-up, documentation and CRM skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Team handling experience is mandatory for Team Leader and management positions.
- Branch operations and performance management experience is required for the Branch Manager position.
