A Chemistry Lab Assistant supports chemists, researchers, or instructors by preparing chemical solutions, maintaining equipment, and keeping the laboratory safe and organized. Key Responsibilities

- Preparation and Setup: Mix chemical reagents, prepare standard solutions, and set up glassware and instrumentation for experiments or student labs.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines, properly dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste, and maintain compliance with chemical hygiene plans.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Wash, dry, and sterilize glassware, clean workstations, and perform routine maintenance or calibration on lab equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of chemicals and supplies, order recent materials, and organize storage areas.
- Record Keeping: Log data, document test findings, and manage inventory or safety sheets under the supervision of senior staff.
