About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Academic & Curriculum Lead to drive academic excellence and curriculum development across our early childhood education programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how young children learn and will be able to translate educational research, pedagogy, and cutting-edge ideas into meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of early childhood curriculum.
- Ensure curriculum and classroom practices are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and child-centered.
- Develop learning frameworks, lesson-planning guidelines, resources, and academic standards for early years programs.
- Mentor and support teachers in implementing effective pedagogical practices.
- Conduct teacher training, workshops, observations, and academic reviews.
- Stay updated with current research and global developments in early childhood education.
- Integrate relevant elements of Finnish Education, EYFS, Reggio Emilia-inspired practices, and other progressive approaches where appropriate.
- Translate educational theories and research into practical classroom experiences.
- Collaborate with academic, leadership, and teaching teams to ensure consistency in curriculum implementation.
- Observe classroom practices and provide constructive feedback to strengthen teaching and learning.
- Support the development of assessments, documentation, and learning outcomes appropriate for young children.
- Encourage creativity, inquiry, curiosity,



play-based learning, and child-led exploration.
- Contribute to the development of academic policies, processes, and quality standards.

Who We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education, curriculum development, academic leadership, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy, child development, and curriculum design.
- Knowledge or practical exposure to Finnish, EYFS, Reggio Emilia-inspired, or other progressive early childhood approaches.
- Experience in academic leadership, teacher development, mentoring, or training.
- Strong ability to design meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Creative, curious, and research-oriented approach to education.
- Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate ideas, educational research, and theory into practical classroom strategies.
- A strong belief in child-centered, play-based, inquiry-driven learning.

Education

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
