Senior Fund Accountant, Private Credit

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform end-to-end Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation for private credit funds on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual NAV pack.
Maintain accurate accounting records for investment portfolios, including loan investments, interest accruals,



fee calculations, realized and unrealized gains/losses, and other fund transactions.
Process and monitor capital calls, investor contributions, distributions, redemptions, and related investor allocations.
Validate waterfall calculations, management fees, carried interest allocations, and investor allocation methodologies.
Handle daily cash activities and notices on assigned funds.
Prepare cash, Position and accrued interest reconciliation, Investigate and resolve breaks.
Participate in annual audits, including preparation of financial reports and responses to auditor queries.
Review annual and interim financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, LUX GAAP and IFRS.
Sign off as reviewer on SOC1 checklist and support SOC external audit requests;
Understand the governing agreements between Alter Domus and the client.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage multiple client deliverables while ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

YOUR PROFILE:
4-8 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with significant exposure to Private Credit.
High-performing accounting graduate.
Strong understanding of private credit fund structures and debt instruments like Syndicated Loans, Direct Lending Investments, Mezzanine Debt, CLOs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
CA,CMA,ACCA,CFA or CA/CMA Inter/MBA finance with relevant experience is preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.




Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
