Business Development Manager (BDM) – Educational Sector

Job Responsibilities

- Drive business development and sales of Educational ERP / SaaS solutions to schools, colleges, and universities.
- Generate leads through direct institutional visits, networking, references, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school/college/university management and decision-makers.
- Conduct product presentations, ERP demos, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to conversion and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain a solid education-sector network for business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for demos, proposals, pilots, and client requirements.




- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and maintain accurate CRM/pipeline reports.
- Willingness to travel extensively for institutional meetings and business development.

Mandatory Requirements

- 5–8 years of B2B sales / business development experience.
- Mandatory experience in the Educational Sector.
- Experience dealing with schools, colleges, universities, or educational institutions.
- Candidates with Educational ERP / EdTech / SaaS sales experience will be relevant.
- Strong institutional network and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings.
