Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Quality Engineer / Jr. Quality Inspector to support quality inspection and control activities in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering background or equivalent, good attention to detail, and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection methods.

The role involves inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure that products meet specified drawings, dimensions, quality requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and parts as per required specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of manufactured components.
- Check dimensions and specifications using basic measuring instruments.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and related documentation.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities during the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with the Production team regarding quality issues and required corrections.
- Ensure that rejected or non-conforming components are properly identified and segregated.
- Assist in maintaining quality inspection records and traceability documents.
- Support the Quality team in monitoring and improving product quality.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of inspection reports and quality-related records.
- Follow company quality procedures, work instructions,



and safety requirements.
- Support day-to-day quality control and inspection activities.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality inspection.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Skills & Competencies

- Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Basic understanding of dimensions and tolerances.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to identify quality issues and report them accurately.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing and quality processes.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Production and Quality teams.

Preferred Requirements

- Exposure to Manufacturing or Aerospace industry is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and inspection instruments.
- Candidates residing near Shamirpet will be preferred.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and coordinate with production teams.
